The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the first of three existing flight licenses.
It will allow you to fly, without remuneration, general aviation aircraft registered in Europe (EASA regulation).
You will be able to fly an airplane to conduct private nonprofit flights.
The PPL license is also the first step toward a commercial pilot’s license if the intention is to pursue a career as a pilot. No experience is needed to take the course because all the necessary training is provided during the theoretical and practical training period in our academy.
The course consists of 100 hours of theory and 45 hours of flight carried out on either P2008 or Cirrus SR20 aircraft.
The theory part is a 100-hour module divided into the following subjects:
- AGK – Aircraft General Knowledge
- POF – Principle Of Flights
- Long briefing on the aircraft used for the PPL module (P2008).
- AL – Air Law
- COM – Communication
- MET – Meteorology
- NAV – Navigation
- FPP – Flight Performances and Planning
- OPS – Operational Procedures
- HPL – Human Performances and Limitations
A minimum of 45 hours of flight time (including at least 25 hours in dual command and at least 10 as a solo pilot under supervision) are scheduled in the practice, which are carried out based on the student’s availability. Our school is open 7 days a week.
The PPL license can be obtained in order to make flying your hobby or as an initial step to be able to continue towards the subsequent flight licenses up to the airline pilot license.
We organize 3 classes per year which for 2023 follow the following dates:
